Dr. Randolph E. Aguilera D.D.S., Lifestyle Recommendations In regards to food everybody is an individual and no diet is right for everybody. Though when 2/3 of the U.S. population is considered overweight then something is wrong. Moderation is the key to healthy food intake no matter what you eat. My personal suggestion is to stay away from wheat, diary products, and red meat. Wheat is one of the most highly allergenic foods there is. If yeast is used in the wheat, then it can create all sorts of fermentation issues in the stomach. Unless it is whole wheat all of the nutritional benefits have been stripped away. When it comes to milk, humans are the only mammals that consume milk after we are weaned off of our mother’s milk. The dairy industry has sold the public a bill of goods that we need milk for calcium. Only one thing wrong with this premise, the body does not assimilate calcium through cow’s milk, only mother’s milk. Red meat is extremely toxic from animal antibiotics, and from the savage way that they are slaughtered. They are also one of the worst polluters with bovine gas, destruction of grasslands and rainforest to support the production of raising cows. I also recommend the daily use of essential oils. The phenols of plant substances can create major body and mind changes for the individual. I personally scrub the body before showering with dry loofa sponge to remove the dead skin cells. Drink at least 64 ounces of water a day to keep the body hydrated. Lack of enough water can contribute to many health problems. Try not to eat food after 7 PM. Your body just doesn’t use the calories and it turns to fat. Get at least one hour of sunlight a day to activate important glandular activity. Have quiet time everyday, preferably meditation or prayer, to help calm the chi. Take at least two vacations a year. The Europeans take up to six weeks off in the summer for vacation, Americans are too workaholic. Remember everything is an illusion, so don’t worry about it.
