Biography James Moser was born
June 30, 1950 in Dallas, Texas. He went to grade school at Jefferson
Davis and Richardson Heights elementary schools. In his early years he
was ill with asthma and allergies but was inspired by reading about how
Teddy Roosevelt as a child, broke through his childhood physical
weaknesses by strenuous exercise. He started playing sports, such as
football, baseball, and basketball and was able to leave these problems
behind. Flying became a great
love of his, as his parents owned their own airplane and both were
pilots. He was often the
co-pilot. The family moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, the beginning of the
first year of high school. He graduated from Coronado High School in
1968, spent several years at Mesa College and Phoenix College and
majored in History. He was married in 1972, divorced five years later.
Got involved in the 60’s and 70’s nonsense of drugs and rock and
roll. He became a salesman for Miller High Life Brewing Company in
1974. In 1979 he started his spiritual path, which turned his life around. The next step, he moved to the Big Island of Hawaii, bought land, and built his own house. He met his first real spiritual teacher and got involved in Buddhism, Meditation, Yoga, Astrology, Rebirthing, Tarot, Jungian thought and other metaphysical practice. In 1984 when James was chased off his land by an active volcano, he moved back to the mainland, Los Angeles, and started practicing the spiritual arts for a living. In 1985 he became a board member and director of activities for the Thomas Institute of Metaphysics. He became aware of feng shui in the late 1980’s, and started learning about feng shui in 1990, and started practicing several years later. He saw the need for easy access to feng shui products and started Feng Shui Warehouse in 1993. He moved to San Diego in 1994 and started the Feng Shui Journal, the first feng shui magazine, in 1995. He hosted the first International Feng Shui Conference in San Diego in 1996, and is now working on his fourth conference, to be in Orlando, Florida in August 2001. He is presently CEO of Feng Shui Warehouse Inc., the world’s largest and oldest feng shui company. He is presently single and lives in the Bay Park area of San Diego, he's preparing to move to Florida soon. Life is good.
